Calling all animal lovers and KWWSPCA Supporters - are you free to do a few hours' voluntary work????

As you know, the KWWSPCA is desperately trying to raise funds for a new animal shelter and the charity has to vacate its Athgarvan premises and find a new location.  Two fund raising events are taking place next week and they are in need of volunteers to help.

Thursday 2 May - Bucket Collection outside Punchestown Racecourse during its Racing Festival.  Help is needed from 11.30am - 8.30pm - so it is a long day but should be very rewarding.  If anyone could help, just for an hour or two, that would be much appreciated.  And if you would like to bring a people loving/crowd friendly dog, that would be even better.

We especially need people from 2 - 4pm and from 4 - 6pm but any other time would be great as well.

Saturday 4 May, Sunday 5 May and Monday 6 May - Barbecue at Harvey Norman in Naas - Harvey Norman in Naas Retail Park is organizing a barbecue outside its premises between 12.00 and 4.00 on each of these days, with all the proceeds going to the KWWSPCA.  We need volunteers to help with the cooking and others to bring their dogs over to attract the customers.  Please help if you can.

If you can help, with family or friends, at either or both these events, please email your contact number and the hours when you could be available or call/text Sally on 087 680 3295.
