'Change of use' to doctor's surgery approved for this Kildare premises

An application to transform an existing ground floor premises from a bank to a doctor's surgery has been approved for a building on Main Street, Maynooth, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the €248k plans are by Whyte Planning Consultants Limited.
CIS reports that application number 2560261 was approved on June 23 2025.
The plans are as follows: change of use of existing ground floor from a bank to a doctor's surgery; and change of use of first floor from vacant office use to a one-bedroom apartment.
The plans also include construction of a rear balcony extension at first floor level, and amendments of existing front facade to include a new door and windows at ground floor level.
All associated site works are also included.
