'Check your back garden for burst pipes' asks KCC as they search for potential leak

Kildare County Council are asking homeowners to check their gardens and the rest of their property for potential burst water mains as they struggle to repair an ongoing issue in the Newbridge area.
According to the council, those living in the Pairc Mhuire, Highfield, Dara Park and Piercetown areas of the town might be experiencing low levels of pressure due to a leak or burst in the line. The council have asked that householders look around their property as they can't rectify the leak before it is found.
The council released the following statement;
"Householders in Pairc Mhuire, Highfield, Dara Park and Piercetown areas of Newbridge are experiencing issues with water pressure, the crew are unable to detect the cause of this issue and we are asking all householders to please check their front/back gardens for leaks/bursts, the waterworks section are unable to rectify the low pressure issue until the leak/burst is located, should a householders detect a leak on their property please contact waterworks on 045 431364."
