Christmas Jumpers before Halloween - sure why not!
We always thought that Christmas didn't officially start until after Halloween...
But who could resist a cheesy Santa, Rudolf or Snowman jumper as a Halloween outfit?
Tesco in Kildare Town never misses a trick when getting us good and ready for December 25 - and the party season.
Indeed, Christmas seems to start earlier and earlier every year - Brown Thomas in Dublin opened its Christmas Shop on August 16!
The kids were only back to school a few days when the first Christmas goods appeared in shops in early September - with over 100 shopping days to Christmas.
On display were chocolate Santas, Santa gift packs and festive Selection Boxes, boxes of sweets and boxes of biscuits.
All the old favourites arrived on the shelves - Roses, Celebrations and Heroes.
Tesco in Kildare Town allocated significant shelf space to several brands of chocolate Santas including Cadburys and Lindt.
