Co Kildare families tomorrow reunite with their loved ones as Defence Forces return from war torn Syria

Tomorrow over 100 Co Kildare families will be reunited with their loved ones who have been serving in war torn Syria for the past six months.
130 members of the Defence Forces, part of the 55th Infantry Group, are returning tomorrow.
A large section of this Group, who are all age groups, are usually stationed at The Curragh Camp.
Next month, it is anticipated that another group of men from The Curragh Camp will make their way to Syria.
Here they carry out peace-keeping missions, under the United Nations Disengagement Observation Forces (UNDOF).
They have been carrying out these missions for a number of years.
