Concerns that Co Kildare graveyard is running out of space

Councillor Carmel Kelly has raised concerns that a famous graveyard near Sallins could be running out of graves.

The politician believes that there are only about 15 to 20 spaces remaining at Bodenstown cemetery where many Irish historical figures are laid to rest.

Cllr Kelly has called on Kildare Co Council to prioritise the extension of Bodenstown to ensure its future viability.
