Council asked to close road in Sallins

Kildare County Council has been asked to close a road in Sallins.

Cllr Anne Breen says the council should "consider permanently closing the vehicular exit road at the bottom of

the canal bridge."

The road is located near the Central Grill premises.

Cllr Breen said this should be done "in the interests of public safety and use the opportunity to create public space for the benefit of the local community."
