Courts Service 'should be ashamed' over Kildare courthouse litter

‘A bin needs to be be moved to help deal with the problem’
A local politician has criticised the amount of litter being left outside Naas Courthouse and adjacent to the main street on most days.
Naas mayor Bill Clear said that Courts Service "should be ashamed of the way they leave it.”
He wants a nearby public litter bin to be moved to the area in front of Naas Courthouse.
He told a Naas Municipal District meeting that this had already been agreed.
He paid tribute to Naas Tidy Towns worker Josie Kelly for her efforts to keep the area clean.
“We’re talking about moving a bin 10 metres," he said.
Kildare County Council said it has “engaged with courthouse building management” and the moving of the bin has been approved.
It added: “The relocation will be carried out in due course, subject to the availability of resources.”
