The call has been made by a local politician

A wall should be built between two residential areas in Naas - and Kildare County Council have been asked to do it.

Independent Ireland councillor Bill Clear wants KCC to provide a “substantial, secure boundary wall.”

He wants it sited between Barracksfield West, a relatively new development and the older Arconagh estate.

He said it’s needed to replace the existing fence “which is inadequate and fails to provide residents with an acceptable level of security, privacy, or visual screening.
