Business Network event with Network Ireland Kildare Branch.
Network Ireland Kildare Branch has hosted “A Mindful Breakfast” networking event, on Tuesday last, 12th of September. The breakfast was led by Network Ireland Kildare Member Gaye Mullen. Gaye has been working in the area of mindfulness for many years and truly recognises the benefits of a daily Mindfulness practice. This short taster morning session on September 12th showed practical ways to bring mindfulness into your busy day. Special thanks was given to Karen Geraghty & the Osprey Hotel + Spa for kindly providing a healthy breakfast to start the Network Ireland Kildare Members day off on a high.
Gaye is the founder of Mindful Business Ireland which offers Mindfulness in the work place and various venues. Gaye is the founder and trainer of Mindfit, a vibrant programme for children and teens which offers mindful yoga and wellbeing. Mindfit instils values around self-compassion, gratitude and inner calm. Gaye also offers Mindful parenting courses and coaching.
Gaye Mullen, Mindful Business Ireland, says, “Mindfulness allows you to take more control of your daily stress, get to know your present self, can bring you inner joy and a happier, calmer more productive life. These are qualities that are badly needed in business today. It was fantastic to share these insights and practical tips with my fellow Network members.”
Pauline Forde, Network Ireland Kildare President, says, “Mindfulness can change the way you think and respond to others, in such a positive way. People today are under so much stress from all areas of their life, learning how to mindfully respond rather than react to uncomfortable situations is an invaluable business skill. Our members were delighted to start their working day off on such a positive note with an expert talk on mindfulness from Gaye, everyone left with an extra pep in their step.”
The next Network Ireland Kildare event takes place on Tuesday the 19th of September, "Supports and Tips for SMEs" as Eugene Forde of Enterprise Ireland offers an insight into Government supports for SMEs. The event is open to members and non-members and is hosted at the Killashee House Hotel (Innovation Hub). Book now to avoid disappointment at http://www.networkireland.ie/events/eventsurl/supports-and-tips-for-smes/. This event is hosted by Network Ireland Kildare Branch in association with Kildare Local Enterprise Office and AIB Bank.
