A packed house and great support turned out for a fundraiser in memory of the late Brian Cornally who died tragically last August. A well-known business man, his funeral drew a huge attendance from organisations and groups from Newbridge and surrounding areas, most notably from Moorefield GAA which Mr Cornally had served as Chairman and was a lifelong Moore’s supporter.

‘Remembering Brian’ saw a night of theatre and music staged at Ryston Social Club on February 3 last with all proceeds in aid of HOPE D and Pieta House. Performers included Con Cummins and Kieran Galvin, along with Newbridge Gospel Choir and excerpts from Newbridge Drama Society  (more photos next week).
