Great Idea! Kildare Co Council considering plan for glamping pods

A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council for a proposed glamping facility. 

Being planned is the construction of four modular glamping pods on a site in Ardclough, Straffan. 

The designs include bicycle storage adjacent to the pods.

Modifications to the existing entrance of the site are also planned.

A wastewater treatment system, internal access roads and a connection to an existing drinking water well are also proposed. 

Landscaping and boundaries are provided for in the plans. 

The estimated construction value of the project is €60,000, according to the Construction Information Service database.
