Tributes have been pouring in for eighteen year old Charlotte Byrne who passed away yesterday, December 5 at home surrounded by her loving family.
The Celbridge community have been paying their respects to the late Mount Sackville Secondary School student on her rip.ie page and while expressing their sadness, many also reflected on the impact Charlotte made on all who knew her over the course of her short life.
A sense of unity, connection and love echoed in every message, a huge part of the legacy young Charlotte has left.
Charlotte's principal at Mount Sackville Secondary School said: "We were so blessed to have Charlotte as a student and so very proud of her. You sent her to us to learn but she taught us so much more: lessons of faith, hope and love. Charlotte will always be remembered for the love , laughter and warmth she brought to our school community."
Charlotte's tutor said: "It has been my greatest privilege to have been Charlotte's tutor for the duration of her time in her beloved Mount Sackville. Her determination, resilience and tenacity was always offset by her vivacious personality and that sparkle in her eye that I was often greeted with. The grief and sadness that we all feel currently is the price we pay for loving Charlotte so much.
"Charlotte will always be an integral part of class Bernadette and her friends and I celebrate and remember with great fondness and love, the very many happy moments we spent together. Together, we will move forward honouring her memory and the special role she played in all of our lives."
Another person wrote: "Beautiful Charlotte touched the lives of so many around the world. May she rest in peace knowing how much she was loved."
Charlotte is the much loved, precious daughter of Caroline and Martin and adored sister of Michael and James. Charlotte will be forever loved and forever missed by her parents Caroline and Martin, brothers Michael and James, Nana Kay and grandparents Phil and Dominic, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, a wide circle of cherished friends and all of the staff and pupils at Mount Sackville Secondary School.
