KILDARE: 16 patients admitted without a bed today at Naas Hospital

Some 16 people were admitted to Naas Hospital through the accident and emergency department, without a bed being immediately available.
However it was least overcrowded public hospital in the eastern region.
The most overcrowded facility was the Mater Hospital where there were 36 patients on trolleys.
There were no patients on trolleys at either Tullamore Hospital or Portlaoise Hospital.
