Kildare artist to hold exhibition in Celbridge library
Exquisite watercolours
Local Celbridge artist Dave Hussey will be hosting his first solo Art exhibition titled “An Artists Journey” in Celbridge Library on Thursday, October 3.
The exhibition will open from 6.30pm on the Thursday and will be open during normal library hours until Wednesday October 16. The exhibition will feature watercolour paintings of many local scenes as well as landscapes and seascapes from further afield. A few still life paintings will also feature in the exhibition.
Dave is a member of the well-known Abbey Art Group and has taken part in many group exhibitions down through the years.
When asked Dave about the theme of the exhibition and he said; “I’ve learned a lot from working with other artists in the group and this exhibition is a testament to that. Each painting will be individually labelled with all the relevant details so as to reduce the amount of printed catalogues, which is more sustainable.”
