KILDARE ARTS SCENE: Newbridge Drama Group take on unique Irish play

The countdown is on to Newbridge Drama Group's staging of A Little Like Paradise by Niall Williams.

The play deals with the battered hopes and dreams of the people living in a quiet Clare village.

Their lives are transformed by a succession of miracles, mishaps and bizarre events which show, in the end, that second chances are possible and can bring their dreams back to life.

Directed by Jill O’Donnell, this promises to be a very entertaining play.

Newbridge Drama Group will celebrate 60 Years in 2024. Watch out for special events to mark this milestone, including a full-length film involving members of the group.

A Little Like Paradise runs from November 22 to 25 at the Riverbank Theatre. Tickets are now available from www.riverbank.ie
