Kildare Co Council approves 5 new apartments in Newbridge

Kildare County Council has granted permission for five new apartments in Newbridge. 

Approval was given for the refurbishment and upgrading of an existing two storey apartment block at Market Square off Eyre Street. 

Permission has been granted to replace the existing ten apartments with five apartments comprising of two one-bed studio apartments and three one-bed apartments.

Approval has also been given for the change of use of the existing barber's shop to a bicycle store.

The plans also provide for a new winter garden-type private open spaces and external balconies to apartments. 

The estimated construction value of the project is over €1m, according to Construction Information Services database.
