KILDARE COURT: Husband boxed me in head - wife claim
A man boxed his wife in the head, it was claimed at Naas District Court.
The woman said he was drunk at the time and she had contacted the gardaí.
She alleged that she is in fear of him.
Granting an interim protection order, Judge Deirdre Gearty said that the man is not allowed to put her in fear.
The judge adjourned the matter to December saying that an application for a safety order, also known as a barring order and which can last for up to five years, could be considered then.
