Works to solve the problem will be planned

A Naas residential area is to be monitored following a complaint about consistent flooding there.

Cllr Anne Breen told a Naas Municipal District meeting that KCC should address the issue in the Woodlands estate.

KCC said it will “continue to actively monitor these locations, particularly during periods of heavy rainfall, in order to assess the extent and frequency of the flooding.”

It also said it will “identify and plan any necessary remedial works, should they be required, to address drainage or surface water management issues in the estate.”

It added: “The situation will remain under review and any interventions deemed necessary will be scheduled in accordance with available resources and work programmes.”
