Kildare gardaí claim they found haul of suspected stolen phone cases worth €3,000

KILDARE TOWN
A number of phone cases which were allegedly stolen were later found at a property in Kildare.
The accusation relates to Jamie Connors, with an address given as 2957 Maryville Green, Melitta Road, Kildare town.
Gardaí told Judge Desmond Zaidan on Thursday, January 5, that the 23-year-old defendant was found with around €3,000 worth of suspected stolen Samsung phone cases at his home on February 16, 2019.
According to gardaí, they believe that the 'substantial amount' of phone cases were the result of a burglary allegedly committed by Mr Connors.
It was also claimed by gardaí that a second person was involved in the alleged burglary.
A book of evidence was served on Mr Connors by gardaí, and his case was sent forward by Judge Zaidan to the present sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court, which commenced today (Wednesday, January 11).
