The Auld Shebeen Athy IFC is also down the quarter-final stage and just like their senior counterparts, all eight games will be decided this weekend beginning on Friday evening in Manguard Park.

Monasterevin v Sallins:

Monasterevin won two and lost one in the group games (Group D) while Sallins had a similar result in Group A.

Sallins certainly came through a tougher group than their opponents and are given the vote but having said that Monasterevan will arrive in Manguard Park fully expecting to advance.

Prediction: Sallins.

Caragh v Allenwood:

A local derby that will surely get the bloods rising. Caragh have been playing some good football this season and come into this one as the favourites to advance to the semi-finals.

Some fine players such as Jake Corrigan, Darragh Swords, Kevin Connor to name just a few.

Allenwood with Johnny Doyle and Darragh Malone pulling the strings, struggled to get over Nurney last weekend and will need to improve on that form.

Prediction: Caragh.

Castledermot v R Towers:

Unbeaten Castledermot (two wins and draw) will be the fancied side in this clash. Always a tough side to beat, the boys from the south of the county would be considered one of the prime contenders to go all the way.

Towers have had a mixed season todate culminating in that win over Nurney last weekend but that was a very disappointing display it has to be said.

The Keating boys, along with Gavin Farrell get the nod to defeat a Towers side that will look to Michael Joyce, Mikey Kelly, Mark Waters and Jamie Flynn to get them over the line.

Prediction: Castledermot.

St Kevin's v Two Mile House:

Very interesting game that could be the pick of the crop of this quarter-final weekend.

Kevin's defeated Towers and Rathangan while Two Mile House have come thus far undefeated with wins over Nurney, Straffan and Ellistown.

The House hit 3-13 in their last outing and look like a team coming to the boil with Chris Healy, Conor Keogh and the experienced Peter Kelly to the fore.

Kevin's play a fine attractive game and will look to the Noones, Jamie O'Brien and Mark Grace to get into the semi-final.

Prediction: Two Mile House.

IFC relegation final

Again a final both were hoping to avoid but Ballymore Eustace and Ellistown will be fighting it to see who retains their intermediate status come 2024.

Both have had disappointing seasons today but possibly Ballymore Eustace will just have enough to get over the line and pushing Ellistown down to the Junior ranks this time around.

JFC SEMI-FINALS:

Two semis down for decision in Clane on Sunday, Robertstown v Athgarvan and Milltown v Grangenolvin.

Milltown and Grange have already drawn, expect Grange to get the better this time while in the second semi-final, Robertstown who have already defeated Athgarvan by just a point, might prevail again.

Predictions: Grangenolvin and Robertstown.
