Kildare ladies fall to table-toppers Armagh in Silverbridge

Armagh 2-15

Kildare 1-7

Kildare came up well short when they headed north to face Armagh in their Lidl Ladies NFL Division 1 round 5 clash. The table-topping home side were well in control of The Lilies most of the way through this fixture.

The Lilies scored first in the game, but a blitz of 1-2 for the home side in the space of three minutes tipped the scales in the other direction.

That momentum would never truly come back in Kildare's favour with a brilliant Armagh side punishing any errors made in  clinical fashion.
