Kildare ladies topple old rivals Wexford to secure All-Ireland final spot

Kildare ladies have beaten Wexford to secure an All-Ireland Intermediate final spot. After a less than classic clash in Parnell Park, Kildare have booked their place for All-Ireland finals day on August 13.
It was hard-fought and less than vintage from either of these typically entertaining sides. A Neasa Dooley goal would end up killing this game that seemed like it could drift either for so long. Dooley turned over possession and drilled the ball into a vacant Wexford net in the 57th minute to deliver the winning blow for her side.
The final score was 1-4 to 0-2 in Kildare's favour.
Kildare, Neasa Dooley 1-0, Róisín Byrne 0-2 (0-1 frees), Aoife Rattigan 0-1, Lara Curran 0-1.
Wexford, Chloe Fox 0-1 (0-1 frees), Amy Walsh 0-1.
