KILDARE: Man faces sexual assault allegation against young male teen
A man has appeared at Naas District Court facing an allegation of sexually assaulting a young male teenager.
The defendant was served with a book of evidence at the brief hearing, during which an order was made that reporting restrictions applying to the case should remain in place.
The defendant was advised by Judge Desmond Zaidan that details of any alibi being put forward by the defendant should be provided in advance to the prosecution.
The defendant was sent forward for trial on his own bail bond of €1,000.
A number of conditions were imposed including that the defendant have no contact with the injured party, a relative of the injured party or any other state witnesses.
