KILDARE: More signs to be placed on the Sallins bypass

More road signs are planned on the Sallins bypass route.
This follows concerns raised by local politicians.
Cllr Carmel Kelly asked if interim measures such as road markings and signage are
being considered for the new road.
A Naas Municipal District meeting was told that a meeting has taken place with An Garda Síochána and proposals to improve signage and road markings on the road to raise driver awareness of the road layout were.
Road markings are being provided and road signage is being procured and will be installed in the coming weeks.
However, Cllr Kelly that “sets of arrows” are not enough.
