KILDARE MUSIC SCENE: Dublin City Ramblers’ 50th anniversary tour

When people hear the name Dublin City Ramblers they instantly think of famous Irish songs like…Dublin in the Rare Auld Times, The Ferryman (Pete St. John), The Flight of the Earls (Liam Reilly), Mr. Punch & Judy Man.

One of Ireland's top ballad/folk groups, the Dublin City Ramblers have entertained audiences worldwide with their unique blend of ballads, folk, humour and foot-tapping music.

Their impressive career has spanned 50 years with several number one hits, plus numerous awards for best ballad/folk group and to top it all a massive 30 albums to their credit with eight of them reaching Gold Album status.

It’s certainly no wonder that they are regarded as one of Ireland’s top ballad groups.
