Kildare man Patrick Hyland, regarded by many as Ireland’s leading tenor, returns for a special concert in his native town. Also taking part will be Laura Aherne, an award winning soprano from Kill.
Patrick Hyland hopes to captivate audiences with a summer event featuring a rich programme of opera classics, beloved songs, and musical theatre favorites.

Patrick was in Boston and Chicago in March this year performing for the Irish American Partnership for the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
He returned to the south of France for a solo tour of concerts in September last year and also performed in the National Concert Hall with the RTE Concert Orchestra in December as the tenor soloist for Handel's Messiah.

Patrick will be joined by an exceptional lineup of musicians. Dr. Máire Carroll, a pianist and composer who has performed at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the National Opera House. Máire is known for her solo and collaborative work, including performances of Philip Glass’s Piano Études.
Kill’s Ms Aherne is a rising star of the opera world. She has performed at Wexford Festival Opera, Wigmore Hall, and the National Opera House and recently won the 2024 Danone young outstanding female artist award.
Cillian O’Breachain is a world-class violinist who has performed with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, and Wexford Festival Opera. His artistry and experience bring a rich depth to this extraordinary concert.
