KILDARE: Ten treated on trolleys today at Naas Hospital

Ten  people are being treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

This means it is the least overcrowded hospital in the eastern region.

The most overcrowded hospital in the region is St Vincent’s Hospital where 27 people were admitted on trolleys, followed by the Mater in Dublin city (20) and Tallaght Hospital (19).

There was just one patient on a trolley at Portlaoise Hospital and none at Tullamore Hospital.
