KILDARE: Two more pedestrian crossings should be provided in Naas

A call has been made for two pedestrian crossings - in close proximity to each other - in Naas town centre.
Naas Mayor Bill Clear said the crossings should be provided at Poplar Square.
One is needed between the Barker & Jones bookshop and the Permanent TSB bank.
He added another is needed linking Lawlor’s Hotel to Chapel Lane.
He said Kildare County Council should begin the design work and costings processes.
