LATEST: Local Kildare shop shocks customers with closing down sale

The owners of a zero waste store in Kildare town have announced it is closing on January 31 due to substantially rising costs.

UNPACKED, which was located in the former AGAPE restaurant premises, said it was simply unable to keep its doors open.

The outlet will be having a 20% closing down sale and fixtures and fittings are also available to buy.

"It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closure of Unpacked at the end of January.

"Thank you to all our regular customers who have brought us such joy and gratitude over the past year of hard work.

"Unfortunately, costs have risen substantially and we are unable to keep the doors open.

We hope to see you all over the coming weeks to say goodbye.

"All goods in store have been marked down 20% and all fixtures and fittings are also for sale."
