A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council by the Mercy Convent Primary School on the Sallins Road in Naas for a new development.

Being planned are three single-storey temporary classrooms.

The proposed facilities will be located to the south of the existing two-storey 22 classroom temporary primary school on the site.

Also in the designs are pedestrian access ramp-ways and hard and soft landscaping.

The gross internal floor area of the temporary classrooms will be 112 square metres.
