Man secures protection from his mother in law in Kildare court

He told the judge he is going through a ‘hostile separation’
He came to court seeking assistance under family law legislation.
He told Judge Desmond Zaidan he is going through “a hostile separation.”
He also said that his wife has a protection order against him as of eight months previously and he also has an order against her.
The man said the mother in law has legal knowledge and he alleged she was advising her daughter to “call for the gardaí.”
The man said the mother in law is living with them at the moment and was generally advising her daughter.
Judge Zaidan granted a temporary order in favour of the man and gave a brief adjournment pending a fuller hearing. The woman was not present or represented.
