More lines and signs need to be provided on Kildare's roads

Improvements requested for two residential areas
Kildare County Council has been asked to provide lines and signs in Naas.
Cllr Ger Dunne wants KCC to install either “stop” or “yield” signs at the junctions of Devoy Terrace and the ESB houses with the entrance to the Arconagh estate.
Separately, Cllr Fintan Brett wants yellow lines to be provided at Gleann Na Riogh Close, adjacent to the junction with Monread Avenue. He said this is for safety reasons.
Meanwhile, Cllr Anne Breen wants KCC to consider placing double yellow lines in front of dropped kerbs in any future planning regulations.
Cllr Breen also wants KCC to investigate the possibility of installing these in existing housing developments in the Naas area “to help facilitate access for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.”
