Most Stylish Mum Eva almost eclipsed by dapper Tristan in a sleeping suit!

New mum Eva Hayes Morrissey from Castletroy, Co. Limerick proved classic lines and clean elegance will always win over daring colour and flamboyant hats. But she was almost eclipsed by her 10 week old son Tristan, who looked ultra cute in a matching sleeping suit and dapper hat!

Donning a simple cream dress from Cork boutique Phoenix V, shoes by Carvella, hat by Irish Milliner Carol Kennelly and a clutch bag by Glitzi Bitz, Eva bagged the Most Stylish Lady at Saturday’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.
Her simple elegance found unanimous favour with the judging panel led by singer/TV presenter Rachel Stevens, Breeda McLoughlin representing Dubai Duty Free, James Amos of Boodles, IMAGE Magazine Editor-In-Chief Melanie Morris and Irish Independent Fashion Editor, Bairbre Power.
Eva’s prize included a luxury trip to Dubai, with a stay in the Dubai Duty Free 5 Star Hotel, The Jumeirah Creekside; €1,000 to spend along with an elegant Boodles diamond pendent from their chic “Roulette” collection and an overnight stay at the luxurious Marker Hotel in Dublin; a luxury Ladurée hamper which includes an Afternoon Tea for 2 at their flagship store and a Jennifer Wrynne Boutique voucher worth €500.
Commenting on her win, Eva said “I gave birth to my first child 10 weeks ago, a baby boy called Tristan and this is our first family outing. I bought the dress when I was 8 months pregnant and only tried it on this morning!”
The new mum is already planning her wardrobe for her trip to Dubai. “It’s such an incredible prize and I’m so grateful to the Judges for choosing me.”
The four runners’ up also received luxury goodie bags containing Spa vouchers for The Marker Hotel and a Ladurée voucher for Champagne Afternoon Tea.
Aileen Maher and her Pamper Pop-Up Salon proved hugely popular in the VIP Pavilion - as some ladies even arrived early with wet hair and without make-up to be attended by Aileen, Sinead and Olivia, experts all and throughout the afternoon, stylish ladies were topped up with eye make up and hair spray.
Celebrities attending Saturday's event included Hector Ó hEochagáin, Clodagh McKenna, Brian Kennedy, Gay Byrne and wife Kathleen Watkins, Anne Doyle, Lester Piggot and Celia Homan Lee. Minister for Sport, Transport and Tourism, also attended as did Ceann Comhairle, Sean O'Fearghail TD and Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin and Kildare's first citizen, Mayor of Kildare, Cllr Ivan Keatley.
