Motorists warned to Slow Down as lambing season under way in Curragh

Frolicking lambs are always a pleasant sight at this time of the year on the Curragh Plains.

However motorists have been warned to slow down while driving through the Curragh due to the unpredictable offspring.

Lambing season is well underway and dozens of young lambs can be seen playing near their mothers.

But newborn lambs may not be as familiar with cars as sheep and can run across the road.

So slow down and allow time and space for lambs and sheep to cross if necessary.
