She said the gardaí advised her to barricade the front door

A woman told a court sitting that her husband moved a drug dealer into their back garden.

She made the allegation during a family law hearing at Naas District Court.

The woman also claimed that her husband is sending threatening messages to her and the children.

She claimed he has a drug addiction and she was advised by the gardaí to barricade their front door. The man was not present or represented.

Judge Michael Connellan granted her a protection order and said he would arrange for the garedaí to serve it on him.

The judge advised the woman to keep a photograph of the order with her on her phone so that it can be shown to the gardaí if the order is breached.

He adjourned the case to January 25.
