Mystery graffiti appears on Newbridge wall

This mysterious message daubed on a wall in Newbridge in recent days has puzzled passers-by.

The graffiti is located opposite Newbridge Silverware on busy Cutlery Road where it can be seen by thousands of motorists every day.

It will ultimately have to removed by the Council.

Last month,Transformers: Age of Extinction star Jack Reynor has launched a campaign to clean up his native Kildare.

The actor posted photos on Twitter of litter, trash bags and graffiti in a woodland area near his home, calling on local people to take more pride in their surroundings.

He hit out angrily: "This is really disgusting and upsetting."

"Can people please not do this kind of s**t in the few beautiful areas we have left in the county please?"
