New pedestrian crossing on the way to this Kildare town centre

It's in the 'interests of pedestrian safety'
A new pedestrian crossing has been approved for Naas town centre.
Labour councillor Anne Breen told a Naas Municipal District committee meeting that a controlled crossing is needed at the junction of Wolfe Tone Street and the main Dublin Road “in the interests of pedestrian safety.”
Kildare County Council said it is currently progressing the design of a signalised pedestrian crossing on the Dublin Road to the south of Wolfe Tone Street.
