10 stores due to transition this year

Clane Providers Homevalue in Clane, Co Kildare is among the first stores to transition to the new Homevalue concept, as part of a major nationwide brand refresh led by United Hardware.

The rebrand forms part of a phased rollout across the Homevalue network, with 10 stores planned to transition in the first year, introducing a new look and feel across selected locations.

Homevalue is owned and operated by United Hardware on behalf of its members, with a network of over 88 independently owned stores nationwide, serving both trade professionals and household customers.

The refreshed concept is built around positioning Homevalue as “Trusted, Local, Experts”, combining national scale with strong local identity and experience.

The Clane store has been updated to reflect the new Homevalue concept, bringing a fresh look and improved customer experience. The store continues to offer a strong trade and DIY proposition, alongside a dedicated bathroom offering for both new installations and renovation projects, including shower doors, tiles, sanitaryware and accessories.

The rebrand has been implemented as part of a broader programme of store upgrades across the network, with a focus on enhancing the day-to-day in-store experience for customers.

The new store concept includes updated layouts and clearer product segmentation across trade, DIY, home and garden categories, designed to improve the customer experience and reflect changing shopping behaviours.

Denis O’Connell, owner of Clane Providers Homevalue, said:

“We’re very pleased to be part of the first phase of the Homevalue rebrand and to introduce the new concept here in Clane. The updated store reflects how the business is evolving, while still staying true to what matters most locally.

“Our focus remains on providing trusted advice, strong service and a reliable offering for both trade and DIY customers, and we’re looking forward to building on that as part of the Homevalue network in the years ahead.”

Paul Candon, CEO of United Hardware, said:

“The rollout of the new Homevalue concept is about building a stronger, more consistent brand across our network, while maintaining the local knowledge and service that our stores are known for.

“Clane Providers Homevalue is part of that first phase, and we’re looking forward to working closely with stores like Clane as the rollout progresses.”

The programme forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen Homevalue’s position as a distinctive national brand with strong local relevance, while continuing to build deeper connections with communities and reinforcing its authority in trade and DIY expertise.

The first wave of rebranded stores provides a working model for the wider rollout, with further locations expected to transition as the programme develops.
