Public services should be more accessible in Kildare

A new strategy is required
Public services should be more accessible for people living in Kildare.
Fianna Fáil councillor Donna Phelan has asked Kildare County Council to establish a working group or committee consisting of a representative from each municipal district within the county, as well as external stakeholders with relevant expertise.
Cllr Phelan says this group should be tasked with developing a new County Kildare Access Strategy.
"This would ensure all public services, facilities and community supports are accessible, autism-friendly and inclusive of people with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, older adults and those with additional needs," she said.
