Racing, music and sun at the Curragh today

Get in the mood for summer racing at the Curragh today just weeks before the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival later this month.

The first of seven races gets underway at 4.20pm and live coverage of the Epsom Derby will also be shown on screens throughout the racecourse.

The crowd can enjoy live music by the Curragh Racecourse’s House Band after the last race at 7.30pm.

Admission for adults is just 15 euro and under 16s go free accompanied by an adult.

Under 25s and Seniors pay only €8.

Free car parking and trains to Kildare Town offer a free shuttle bus to races.
