Raiders in Co Kildare home leave taps running

A Co Kildare home was left with a full, running tap by raiders at the weekend.

It is understood that when a break-in proved unsuccessful, a tap was left running, in a sink, at a home in Booleigh, Nurney, Co Kildare.

The break-in is reported to have taken place between 8am and 2pm, on Friday last.

An internal door was kicked in while the sink was switched on and left to flow.

A  Plasma  television was damaged by water while the desktop of a computer was also damaged.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
