Raiders smash window in Co Kildare home for €150 television

The window of a Co Kildare home was smashed while a television worth €150 was the only item stolen in yesterday's raid.

At Lower Kilteel, Naas, between 8a.m. and 6p.m. entry was forced into the unoccupied home.

A spokesperson from Naas Gardai said this is 'unusual' as many thieves are now searching specifically for cash and jewellery, and are even leaving laptops behind.
