Raiders threw family pictures off walls in Co Kildare home

A Co Kildare home was badly ransacked over the weekend with raiders throwing family photos off walls in the process.

Appeals are now being made for anyone who sees a sentimental €5 note, with personal meaning and a message attached. They were notes that had been written during family bets.

The home at Derrinturn, Co Kildare, was hit by raiders over the weekend.

Family member Ebony Lawless said: "They threw family pictures in frames and pulled photos off walls. There was no financial benefit in that it was just badness."
