Security being beefed up at well-known business park near Newbridge

Tougher Business Park is increasing its security by restricting access between 9pm and 6am seven nights a week.
A property management firm acting on behalf of the owners York Property Fund said that the details of every vehicle entering the area must be registered in order to be admitted during the period.
A barrier and CCTV system, which was perviously in operation, will be re-installed to protect security of the business park.
The busy industrial zone is home to the NCT Centre and the HSE as well as warehouses for discount retailers Lidl and Domino’s Pizza.
Last December US-based York Property Fund bought Tougher Business Park for more than €17m.
The sprawling 125-acre business park includes 56 buildings dating from the 1990s and early 2000s with an overall floor area of 70,000sq m (753,446sq ft).
A memo sent to employees working in the area said: "During barrier down time, access is possible only by checking in with security who then raise the barrier."
Meanwhile the management company said that works to repair the badly pot-holed surface of the entry road will begin 'as soon as possible' as the contract will be awarded in coming days.
