'Singing and dancing' - The famous Garda Band turned up at a small community club in Kildare this week
A great afternoon of singing and dancing was had by all
The Garda Band entertained members of a local community group in Co Kildare this week.
The musicians turned up a the Sunshine Club in Sallins to play their instruments.
Community Gardai from Naas also attended and a great afternoon of singing and dancing was had by all.
The Sallins Sunshine Club meet fortnightly in Sallins Community centre on a Wednesday afternoon.
Some days they go on outings, have guest speakers, crafters or have celebration parties.
But other days are more relaxed and all about the gathering and chatting.
The Sunshine Club said it was very grateful to the Community Gardai from Naas Station for their contribution towards the club and to the 'wonderful' Garda band.
