There are plans for two housing projects in Naas
But they won't be ready for a while
Two new housing projects are in the pipeline for Naas - but won't be available for until some time in 2027.
Information about the progress of the two schemes at Rathasker Road and Caragh Road - which will provide 80 and 73 homes respectively - was sought by Cllr Seamie Moore at a Naas Municipal District meeting.
According to Kildare County Council, further survey and site investigation works will be undertaken over the winter months.
It is hoped to lodge a planning application early in 2025 in relation to Rathasker Road and “it’s anticipated that this project will be delivered in 2027.”
Designs have been prepared by KCC for the Caragh Road site.
A tender was issued to secure of a design team, however KCC were unsuccessful in engaging suitable consultants. KCC expects that the houses will be available in early 2027.
