Three men bring new theatrical experience to North Kildare

Three men are bringing a new theatrical  production to North Kildare from this Thursday.

Frank McGuinness's ' Someone Who'll Watch Over Me ' will be performed at  the Hunting Room in Castletown House from  this Thursday  to Sunday , nightly at 8pm plus a Saturday afternoon matinee at 3pm.

The play itself focuses on the trials and tribulations of an Irishman , an Englishman and an American who are being held hostage in a small confined cell in the Lebanon.

Here the three men struggle to survive , and endeavour to cling onto their sanity while maintain their individual nationalistic differences. This deeply emotional yet at time hilariously amusing play is inspired by the true life experiences of Brian Keenan and John McCarthy and is directed by Tom Byrne.

It features actors Ciaran Tighe , Mark Yeates and Colin Walsh playing the three roles.

The trio established Redembertheatre group about 18months ago in North Kildare.

Speaking to KildareNow, Leixlip man, Colin Walsh says he first began acting at the age of nine.

Tickets are €15 plus booking fee and are available on Eventbrite and can be purchased through our website at www.redemberstheatre.com
