Traffic calming measures needed after vehicle accidents in a Kildare town

A number of road accidents on the outskirts of Clane have led to a call for Kildare County Council to take action.
Independent councillor Pádraig McEvoy wants KCC to consider installing "islands" and other traffic calming measures on the Clane inner relief route.
This follows a series of vehicle collisions.
It's expected, according to Cllr McEvoy, that traffic movement will further increase with the opening of the Capdoo Road extension.
