TripAdvisor has revealed its Top Ten places to visit in Co Kildare

Tourist website TripAdvisor has unveiled its Top Ten places to visit in Co Kildare as voted by its subscribers.

And in top position is the Irish National Stud & Gardens near Kildare Town followed by Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre and then Kildare Village in third spot.

Last week TripAdvisor Kilmainham Gaol was the favourite tourist landmark in Ireland of its subscribers ahead of Blarney Castle and Trinity College Dublin.

The rest of the Top Five for Co Kildare is made up of Wallaby Woods in Donadea and Castletown House in Celbridge.

Also featured in the Top Ten is Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park, Clonfert Pet Farm in Maynooth, St Patrick's College Maynooth, St Brigid's Cathedral and Round Tower in Kildare Town and Museum of Style Icons in Newbridge Silverware.
